NAP TIME...

Colt has the greatest brothers who love him SOOO much! If ever I need someone to hold him while I make a bottle or quickly load the dishwasher I usually have lots of volunteers. Ethan loves to lay down with Colt on his chest like this... and Colt loves it too.... he almost always falls asleep like this. How darling... my two loves taking a little nap...

A funny little story... the other day Colt was Screaming... he needed to eat and we can all see from his latest pics that because he is withering away he was letting me know that this was a serious matter! So, of course, we as mothers know that babies are bound to cry and we some how learn to not let it break our hearts... at least not every time it happens. Well, Colt was crying one evening and I was trying my hardest to get that bottle made when Eliot yells Mom..." Colts crying!" He ABSOLUTELY hates it when the baby cries... and not because it is annoying him, but because he feels bad. So here I am hustling to make the bottle because I have not only Colt yelling at me but I also have Bubba doing the same. He then proceeds to walk into the kitchen with a very stern face and asks "Do you even love your baby?" I start laughing.... and you can imagine my laughing did not go over so well! He now says... in a much louder voice...."Well do you?... you must not because you are laughing!" It took a while... but I convinced Eliot finally that YES... I do love the baby... and I also love my Bubba for being his sweet self...
